Martian Grab: The Martian Manhunter attacks with a low grab, slamming the opponent to the ground by their ankles. ![]() Most famously, he is completely and totally vulnerable to fire, which can remove his shapeshifting abilities, reveal his true form, and kill him. While very powerful, J'onn is not without weaknesses. J'onn can even use his telekineses to push his opponent away from himself. As part of his telekinetic powers, J'onn can project psychic orbs of energy on the battlefield as small bombs that detonate on contact or call forth telekinetic blasts from the ground or, after a small period, call forth telekinetic blasts from down from the sky. J'onn's mental powers allow him to enter someone's mind, letting him either take direct control over them or subject them to sights, sounds, and other sensations only seen and felt by them. J'onn's physical powers are still almost nothing compared to his mental abilities. When he combines these powers, it gives the illusion of teleportation. J'onn can use his complete control over his physiology to turn himself invisible or shift his molecules and allow himself to move through solid objects. J'onn can even condense his body into a liquid-like state and enter another person's body, allowing him to strangle and damage organs, severally wounding them. Where J'onn's true Martian power lies is in his ability to shapeshift, allowing him to perfectly transform into duplicates of anyone he can see, and his body's malleable physiology allows him to stretch and contort his limbs. The Martian Manhunter possesses similar levels of superhuman strength, durability, stamina, invulnerability, power of flight, superhuman speed, and extrasensory abilities. J'onn's innate Martian abilities give him power comparable to Superman. Manhunter cameos in the Watchtower Stage, observing the combatants battle in the background. While his ending states he hid in Atlantis disguised as an Atlantean archivist that the main universe's Aquaman encounters, it is presently unknown if this is canon or not. The Injustice universe's Martian Manhunter's death was confirmed in the comic. Eventually he would take on the codename “Martian Manhunter”, and became a core member of the Justice League. After the experience fell, he assumed the identity of deceased detective John Jones. On Earth, he assumed the alias of “The Golden Wraith”, a member of the Justice Experience. He was then unexpectedly pulled through time by scientist Saul Erdel. Unfortunately both of the latter 2 died when Ma'aleca'andra fell under what was known as H'ronmeer's Curse, which left him the only surviving member of his race. He eventually married a martian physician named M'yri'ah, who bore him a daughter, K'hym. Years later he became what was colloquially referred to as a “Manhunter”, a sort of peacekeeper. J’onn J’onzz originally came from the planet Ma'aleca'andra, but as a child, he was whisked away from his homeworld by the unscrupulous Lionel Luthor, who, along with his Legionnaire’s Club would experiment on him, until Lionel’s youngest son, who would later be known as Lex Luthor, rescued him, allowing the latter to return to Ma'aleca'andra. ![]()
